Topic: Adaptive Flow-Rule Placement in Software-Defined Networks


Biography: Samaresh Bera joined INRIA- Sophia Antipolis as a Research Engineer in a joint collaboration between the INRIA and Nokia Bell Labs, France. He has submitted his PhD thesis and is waiting for his PhD degree from IIT Kharagpur. He will continue to work as a postdoc at the lab once he gets his Ph.D. degree. He served as the Chair of the IEEE Student Branch, IIT Kharagpur, India in 2019 and as Vice-Chair in 2017 and 2018. Further, he played an instrumental role in successfully organizing IEEE TechSym 2016 and IEEE TechSym 2014. He received the young researcher award to attend the Heidelberg Laureate Forum, Germany in 2017. He also received the IEEE Richard E Merwin student scholarship from the IEEE Computer Society for his outstanding contribution towards IEEE. He has published more than 25 research articles. He serves as a reviewer of many IEEE journals.
